Films: The Capture of Bigfoot (1979)
Alias: The Legendary Creature of Arak
Type: Natural
Location: Forest/Civilized area/Underground/Ocean/Jungle
Height/Weight: That of an average human.
Affiliation: Neutral
Summary: Part of cryptid appeal is just how much merchandise can be made from the mystery of it all. But the real treasure goes to whoever might actually capture the coveted beast.
History: A creature sacred to the native people of Wisconsin, this Bigfoot lived happily alone in the woods with its child. Unfortunately, the local town loved the attention they got from Bigfoot merchandising, and many seek to capture the beast. The true call to trouble started when the little Bigfoot was shot, sending the mother into a blood rage...
Notable Kills: Nothing special.
Final Fate: The Bigfoot is eventually captured, but humans empathetic to its plight release it, and even reunite it with its child, who somehow survived the shooting.
Powers/Abilities: None
Weakness: Anything conventional.
Scariness Factor: 2-It tries being intimidating at times (like with that awful roar), but it looks too much like a giant walking cotton ball to be intimidating. The child is even cuter, obviously.
Trivia: -This film is also known as "The Legend of Bigfoot".
-Troma leader Lloyd Kaufman considers this film to be his weakest effort.
